Why I Built This

I constantly hear from friends and neighbors "I want to get involved, but I can't figure out where to start," or "what is the difference between the city and the county?" Getting basic info shouldn't mean having to dig through a dozen websites just to find a meeting time or figure out who represents you. Local government is what impacts us every single day — we should have it be as transparent and accessible as possible.

When I saw what Apex Councilmember Terry Mahaffey built with Peak News Network, I knew Durham needs this! So I buckled down and built it, with a lot of help from Terry!

One place, everything linked straight to the official source, no runaround. My hope is this makes it easier for every Durham neighbor to know what's happening, who represents them, and how to show up. Please reach out, my door is always open!
